The 20 Lire Gold Coin from Italy were an official form of currency from 1861-2002. These were also known as marenghi (singular = marengo).

Obverse:

Shows the bust of Umberto I, King of Italy from 1878 to 1900, inscribed with UMBERTO I, RE D'ITALIA (meaning King of Italy).

Reverse:

It features the Coat of Arms from the ancient House of Savoy, which officially ruled the Kingdom of Italy from 1861 until the end of the Second World War.
