Full Description

Made of one-ounce of .999 fine gold, the Chinese Gold Panda has a denomination of 500 Yuan; and is an exceptional addition to any collection or investment.

Obverse

Shown on the Obverse of every Chinese Gold Panda is the Temple of Heaven. Built in the 15th century, the temple was visiting by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

Reverse

One of the most recognized animals on the planet is featured on the Reverse of the gold coin, and also happens to be the coins namesake: the Giant Panda. Illustrations of the curious beasts differ year to year: the only exception being 2001, and 2002 when the same design was minted. The 2014 coin depicts the lovable animal sitting and munching on a stick of bamboo; a beautifully rendered bamboo forest can be seen in the background.
