Full Description

The GMRGold.com Saint-Gaudens copper bullion round is a rendition of a twenty-dollar gold coin, or double eagle, produced by the United States Mint from 1907 to 1933. The coin is named after its designer, the sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, who designed the obverse and reverse. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful of U.S. coins. The obverse (front) depicts lady Liberty holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other as she strides across a rocky outcrop. Behind her are the United States Capitol and the rays of the sun. The reverse (back) is a side view of a flying eagle, seen slightly from below, with a rising sun and its rays behind it. GMRGold.com’s device appears at the top and the round's weight and purity are stamped around the top above it. This beautiful round is freshly minted and struck in .999 fine copper bullion. Available in the fractional size of 1/2 Avoirdupois ounce, an ideal denomination for stacking or trading.
