1921 Morgan Silver Dollar VG

The Coinage Act of 1873 eliminated the contemporary Seated Liberty silver dollar, however, silver mining interests pushed hard for a resumption of production, so the Morgan Silver Dollar was minted starting in 1878, with production continuing until 1904. After World War One, production was restarted and continued for a few months, until being replaced by the 1921 Peace Dollar.
