Minted privately in the United States, the 1 ounce Copper Round is guaranteed to contain one full ounce of .999 fine copper and is in Brilliant Uncirucalated condition!
The design showcases the famed Adolph A. Weinman, Walking Liberty design originally featured on the Silver Half Dollar from 1916 until 1947. A modern representation of the originally obverse design appears on the Silver American Eagle, which was introduced into circulation in 1986.
Shown on the Obverse of the coin is leftward facing liberty, mid stride in profile. A billowing American Flag can be seen behind her and she cradles an olive branch in her left arm. The sun can be seen just a rising over the mountains in the background. The original inscriptions appear around her figure, “Liberty” and “In God We Trust,” but the year is omitted on the one ounce copper round design.
On the Reverse, the original design can be seen. An American bald eagle is shown, in almost a parallel stance as Lady Liberty in the Obverse: mid-stride, facing left. The wings are outstretched and an olive branch can be seen near its talons in beautiful detail.
Pure copper rounds, like the one ounce .999 Copper Walking Liberty coins are sensitive to the oils of the human hand. GMR recommends handling your coins with gloves, or by the edges to avoid staining the surface. Store in a sulfur-free environment, like the pvc tubing, or capsules to ensure the longevity of your investment.
