Full Description

Incuse design is engraved below the level fields of the coin or round rather than in bas relief in which the design rises above the flat surfaces. The Incuse Indian Silver Round presented here is minted in 1/2 troy ounce of .999 Fine Silver. This silver round is a rendition of the Bela Lyon Pratt design of the $2.50 and $5.00 coins of the late 1700s known as the quarter eagle and half eagle. This 1/2-ounce round is a flexible investment option and a popular choice of precious metals investors.

The front of this silver round features a Native American chief in a full feathered headdress in a left-facing profile. Above is the word ‘Liberty,’ below is the year 1929, and between these along the edge are stars. The original design was first created by Bela Lyon Pratt and used on the Indian Head quarter eagle and half eagle coins.

Pratt also created the original design that was used for early 20th century coinage and now used anew for this Fractional Silver Round. The design depicts an eagle standing on a bunch of arrows with an olive branch intertwined. The weight and purity are listed at the bottom, while the mottoes ‘E Pluribus Unum’ and ‘In God We Trust’ are inscribed to the left and right of the eagle.
