The Great Basin National Park 5 oz silver bullion is a homage to ancient bristlecone pines found in the mountainous and rocky regions. The Bristlecone Pine is one of the three species protected by the U.S Government. The obverse of the Great Basin National Park features George Washington like all others in the series. The inscriptions are United States of America, Liberty and the coin's denomination i.e Quarter dollar. The reverse portrays single bristlecone pine tree on a rocky terrain. The inscriptions read as 'Nevada', 'Great Basin' and 'E Pluribus Unum'.
