Full Description

The 1943-D Mercury Dime comes from the Denver (D) mint. The Mercury or what is popularly known as the winged liberty dime is composed of 90% silver with exceeding quality standards. This 1943 dime is also known as the prized keepsake from World War II (America).  

Obverse:

The front side of mercury dime showcases the beautiful sculpture of the Liberty head, by Adolph Weinman. Mixed with greek mythology, the Liberty is wearing a winged cap standing for the liberty of thought.

Reverse:

The back side of all Mercury Dimes shows tender olive branches encircled around the fasces (embarked with an axe). Also designed by Adolph Weinman.
