Full Description

Soon after 1964 came the time when the value of silver exceeded the face value of the coins. This is when the government decided to stop using pure silver. As a result, the mints were ordered to use 40% silver instead of 90%.These coins were then made with a mixture of copper and silver with 40% silver and 60% copper.

It is still a very good package for all those who want to invest in silver. Each bag will contain a mixture of half dollars, dimes and quarters.
