    Full Description

Minted privately in the United States, the 1/10 ounce silver round features the Walking Liberty Half Dollar that was minted from 1916 to 1947, and makes owning such an iconic image affordable and easy!

Due to the coin being a replica, and not a product of the United States some changes were made to the original design: on the front of the coin the date is not present, shown on the back the denomination is omitted.

    Obverse

The design for the Walking Liberty Half Dollar was created by Adolph Alexander Weinman. As Treasury secretary, William G. McAdoo, described in his annual report:

“The design bears a full-length figure of Liberty, the folds of the Stars and Stripes flying to the breeze as a background, progressing in full stride toward the dawn of a new day, carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolical of civil and military glory. The hand of the figure is outstretched in bestowal of the spirit of liberty.”

    Reverse

The Reverse, designed by John Mercanti, features a heraldic eagle with shield and thirteen five-pointed stars and states its silver content, and purity below.
